If you registered your card last year, you do not have to re-register.

Italian Classes
Italian classes have begun for our Kindergarten and first grade students during our school day.  However, second graders will be offered Italian on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2:30 - 3:10 PM and a permission flyer will be going home.  Kindly look for the flyer and return to school.  Second graders students who returned the permission slip will begin Italian classes on Wednesday, September 28th.

Candy Sale

The candy sale is one of our sweet fundraisers!  Parents and students are encouraged to sell their candy to relatives, friends, and your co-workers (vs. selling them "door to door").  Please remember that if you choose to opt out your child does not receive a N.U.T. card.

Many thanks for your cooperation and for helping to make this a successful Candy Drive.  For every box of candy sold, $30.00 is raised for Notre Dame School.

If you have a student in grade K, 2, 4, or 7, please read the attached letter from Mrs. Dumas.  If you have questions about missing paperwork, please call the health office at 516-354-2731.

If you are new to our school or have never logged in to the Parent Portal, please go to the For Parents tab and find the link for the Parent Portal Manual.  The manual includes step-by-step instructions for creating your account.  Please note that the portal is only used for students in Grades 1-8.  If you have misplaced your Access ID or password, please contact Mrs. McCarthy via e-mail at
